About Hugo Sanchez de la Espada

Hugo Sanchez de la Espada joined Baker McKenzie in 2005. He leads the Mergers & Acquisitions practice group in Paris. Hugo is also Chair of the CG&R (consumer, goods and retail) group in Paris. Hugo is an experienced lawyer in merger and acquisition transactions for French and foreign clients. He works particularly on acquisitions and sales of French or foreign companies or groups, on domestic, cross-border or multi-jurisdictional transactions as well as on joint venture operations, with a particular focus and expertise on the CG&R and healthcare/life sciences sectors. In addition, Hugo generally works in corporate law, as well as on private equity projects and group restructurings. He was seconded at the Baker McKenzie office in San Francisco for two years.
