About Lothar Determann

Lothar Determann has practised technology law at Baker McKenzie for more than 25 years, helping companies take products and business models global. He also advises on data privacy and cybersecurity, and has been recognised as a leading lawyer by Chambers and Partners. He teaches at Berkeley Law and has authored more than 180 articles and six books, including Determann’s Field Guide to Artificial Intelligence Law (2nd Ed. 2026), which is also available in Chinese, French, German, Korean and Spanish.
