About Catherine Drew

Catherine Drew is a patent and medicines regulatory specialist. She has experience of advising on pan-European patent litigation and administrative litigation concerning regulatory exclusivity attaching to pharmaceutical and other products. Catherine advises on the interpretation of UK and European regulation of medicinal products, medical devices, cosmetics and other borderline products, including providing strategic advice to clients seeking to bring products to market. She has assisted clients in litigation before the English High Court, the Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court, in addition to the European General Court and the CJEU. Catherine has a good understanding of the commercial drivers behind clients’ businesses, having undertaken two secondments in a multi-national pharmaceutical company.
