About David N Alfred

David N Alfred is a director of Drew & Napier and co-head of the firm’s data protection, privacy and cybersecurity practice group. He is concurrently co-head and programme director of the Drew Data Protection and Cybersecurity Academy. David is a senior technology lawyer with over 25 years’ experience advising on matters relating to digital technology, telecommunications and the internet. He has substantial experience advising on data law and policy including areas such as data privacy, data protection management, data breaches cybersecurity compliance, AI governance and international aspects of data protection. David was previously the first chief counsel of Singapore’s data protection authority, the Personal Data Protection Commission.
