About Jonathan McCullough

Jonathan McCullough is co-head of Bennett Jones’ corporate department. He has been practising corporate and securities law for over 35 years, with a particular emphasis on private equity transactions, acting on behalf of fund sponsors and institutional investors in organising domestic and international private equity funds to invest in buyouts, mezzanine, venture capital, merchant banking, infrastructure and timber assets. Jonathan focuses primarily on private funds formed for investment by institutions and is well known by investors, sponsors and professionals in that asset class, being one of the first Canadian lawyers to actively practise in that space. He has extensive experience with the formation of joint ventures for mining projects and infrastructure investment consortiums.
