About Maria Fernanda González

Maria Fernanda González graduated from Universidad del Rosario and has a Master of Laws (LLM) from the University of Pittsburgh, focusing on contracting, business and international transactions, corporate social responsibility and sustainability. With more than 20 years’ experience in providing legal advice to national and multinational corporations in corporate and commercial law, and as in-house counsel and an external legal advisor for leading Colombian law firms, Maria Fernanda has advised in the telecommunications, financial, hydrocarbons, mining and natural resources sectors. She has worked extensively in the structuring and negotiation of commercial transactions, mergers and acquisitions, the formation of new companies and investment tools, local and transnational contracts, competition, consumer protection and due diligence.
