About Sharif Bhuiyan

Sharif Bhuiyan is a senior advocate of the Supreme Court of Bangladesh and a partner and deputy head at Dr Kamal Hossain and Associates. Sharif is a member of the Permanent Court of Arbitration, was co-rapporteur of the trade taw committee of the International Law Association and was a visiting fellow at the University of Cambridge (2006). He leads the firm's practice across a wide range of areas. He acted as counsel and legal expert in arbitrations under the ICSID, ICC, UNCITRAL, SIAC, GAFTA and DIA rules and under the domestic arbitration laws of Bangladesh, Korea and the UK. Sharif appeared as counsel in major cases before the Bangladesh Supreme Court.
