About Ann Fenech

Ann Fenech is a partner and heads the marine litigation department. She has practised maritime law exclusively since 1986. She was managing partner between 2008 and 2020. Ann was elected President of the Comité Maritime International (CMI) in 2022. She was the President of the Malta Maritime Law Association from 2008 - 2022 upon her election as President of the CMI, is a founding member of the Malta Maritime Forum and council member of the European Maritime Law Organisation. She was also the CMI co-ordinator at the UNCITRAL Working Group V1, which deliberated and concluded the International Effects of Judicial Sales of Ships Convention adopted by the UN General Assembly in 2022.
