About Isa Alade

Isa Alade is a partner in Banwo & Ighodalo’s fintech and private equity practices. He has led teams advising companies such as Ant International, Bairong, Mastercard, Tencent Holdings Limited, Opay Limited, Terra Payment Services (UK) Limited and Nuvei on legal, regulatory and contractual issues relating to their operations in Nigeria. Isa was heavily involved in the drafting of the Registration Framework and Guidelines for Digital Lending (2022), the Digital Lending Standardisation Rules, the Nigeria Startup Act (2022) and the CBN Open Banking Framework (2022).
