About Panayiota Elia

Panayiota Elia has been in practice in Cyprus since 1995 and joined Georgiades & Pelides in 1997. She graduated from the University of Essex with a degree in law (LL.B.) and earned a post-graduate degree in law (LL.M.) from the London School of Economics and Political Science. Panayiota’s main areas of practice are banking, corporate and commercial law. She has extensive experience in international financing transactions involving Cyprus borrowers, security providers and guarantors, including the drafting of loan and security documentation. She also advises local banks and has been involved in restructurings of local loans.
