About Johanna Kauppinen

Johanna Kauppinen is an associate at HPP Attorneys who specialises in EU, competition and regulatory law. Her areas of expertise include antitrust matters and merger control. She regularly advises clients on antitrust investigations and compliance, as well as assisting clients in merger control proceedings. Johanna also counsels clients on issues relating to Finnish foreign direct investment (FDI) control and the related administrative proceedings. Prior to joining HPP, Johanna completed a traineeship with the Finnish national competition authority, where she worked in the authority’s antitrust unit. She has also worked as a research assistant at Aalto University in the field of competition law.
