Tarja is the head of HPP’s mining practice. She advises domestic and international mining companies in the legal questions in all phases of the lifecycle of a mining project and has also been involved in numerous M&A and finance transactions in the mining sector. Tarja’s experience includes, amongst others, advising exploration and mining companies in environmental and other permitting processes, administrative proceedings, matters relating to environmental liability, matters pertaining to nature protection, acquisitions, investments and divestments, and fund-raising as well as supply and off-take agreements and other sector-specific commercial contracts. In addition, Tarja assists other industrial, energy and manufacturing companies with environmentally related issues and contractual matters.
