About Jannis Lührs

Jannis Lührs joined POELLATH in 2022 as an associate and is active in domestic and international tax law, focusing on the tax structuring of private equity and M&A transactions and the structural tax aspects of private equity funds. He previously worked for several years in the international tax department of EY and PwC. Jannis studied business administration with a focus on tax law at Mannheim Business School and the University of Magdeburg, and was admitted as a German certified tax adviser in 2022. He has published on tax-related aspects, as well as regularly blogging on current tax issues and topics on “DER BETRIEB Steuerboard”.
