About Jillian Chia

Jillian Chia is the head of Skrine’s privacy and data protection practice, and focuses on advising local and multinational companies on data protection and privacy issues. She reviews and drafts relevant documentation, such as privacy policies, data processor agreements and data transfer agreements, ensuring her clients’ internal practices are in line with the requirements of privacy and data protection laws. Jillian’s expertise extends to the TMT industry, where she advises global telecommunications and technology companies on their investments and service offerings in Malaysia. She also handles the registration of industrial designs and general advisory work relating to IP rights.
