About Alexander J. Poblador

Alexander J. Poblador obtained his Bachelor’s degree from the University of the Philippines (U.P.) in 1974, cum laude. He received his Bachelor of Laws from the same university in 1978, graduating cum laude and valedictorian. He placed third in the 1978 Bar Examinations. He has a Master of Laws degree from the University of Michigan. He was the editor-in-chief of the Philippine Law Journal in 1978. He currently sits on the boards of several corporations, including San Miguel Corporation and Alpha Aviation Group (Philippines), Inc. of which he is also President. His fields of legal practice are civil, commercial and criminal litigation, commercial arbitration, corporate law, real property law, bankruptcy law, banking, securities and finance.
