About Laurent Fessmann

Laurent Fessmann is a partner in the funds & asset management team of Baker McKenzie Luxembourg and co-leads the global funds practice across the firm’s 75 offices. He has 25 years’ experience in business law, having started his career in 1996 as in-house counsel in a French CAC 40 listed company, where he worked on LBO transactions, capital markets, and corporate law matters. Laurent founded his own firm in August 2009 and co-established the Baker McKenzie Luxembourg office in 2010. He has significant experience in fund structuring and asset management, including formation of, and ongoing assistance to, investment funds in a variety of asset classes (private equity, hedge funds, and real estate).
