His practice areas cover insurance, M&A, foreign investments, corporate structuring and reorganisation, the sale and purchase of non-performing/distressed assets of banks and financial institutions, taxation, documentation of loans and security arrangements, and securities regulation, as well as joint ventures and financing for real estate projects, mining projects and construction projects. Benedicto led the team that assisted in establishing a Philippine branch office of a foreign non-life insurance conglomerate with worldwide operations. He has also assisted in the registration of resident agents for foreign non-life reinsurance companies.
