Benjamin Cheong is deputy head of Rajah & Tann Singapore LLP's TMT practice. He has practised in Singapore, Hong Kong and Shanghai and has been involved in numerous complex cross-border, multi-jurisdictional deals across Asia. With clients spanning the industries of IT, telecommunications, life sciences and financial services, Benjamin has more than a decade of experience in advising on contentious and non-contentious matters, particularly on technology-related joint ventures, M&A, technology and IP licensing, technology outsourcing, and data protection compliance. He also has keen interest in cybersecurity, blockchain, fintech, insurtech, medtech, digital payments and AI, and sits within the Law Society of Singapore’s IT committee.
