About Hongjoong Kim

Hongjoong Kim is a partner in the international arbitration and litigation practice group at BKL, and his practice focuses on the resolution of international disputes. After three years of service in the Korean Air Force as a judge advocate, Hongjoong (HJ) Kim joined BKL in 2006. Since then, he has been actively involved in hundreds of large-scale international disputes. His experience covers a wide range of disputes, including but not limited to post-M&A, distributorship, shipbuilding, aerospace, retail, automobile parts, oil, pharmaceuticals, and private equity. HJ Kim also represents the Korean Bar Association as the Vice President (international affairs) and Chairman of the International Committee. HJ Kim is qualified in both Korea and New York.
