About Hangil Lee

Hangil Lee is a lawyer at Bae, Kim & Lee LLC. She focuses on international arbitration and cross-border litigation. Trained in both civil and common law systems, Ms Lee has represented the Korean government and leading corporations in investor-state and commercial arbitrations, securing favourable outcomes in disputes spanning construction, energy, finance, post-M&A, and complex shareholders’ matters. With over a decade of experience, she has acted under ICC, SIAC, HKIAC, KCAB, and ad hoc rules, and has advised on interim relief, enforcement, and set-aside proceedings before domestic and foreign courts. Ms Lee has published widely, frequently speaks on cross-border disputes, and serves as Vice Chair of the IBA Asia Pacific Arbitration Group.
