About Jeonghee Kang

Jeonghee Kang joined Bae, Kim & Lee LLC after serving as principal counsel at Samsung Electronics and as a research judge specialising in competition law at the Supreme Court of Korea. She holds a doctorate in competition law and handled antitrust and data privacy matters during her tenure at both institutions. Ms Kang is recognised for her extensive experience in a wide range of areas, including antitrust, data privacy, and IP issues related to broadcasting, telecommunications, and IT companies, as well as the establishment of AI governance. She also serves on various expert committees, and participates in multiple research groups led by institutions such as the NIA, K-Data, and the Telecommunications Technology Association.
