About Junu Kim
Junu Kim
is a partner at Bae, Kim & Lee LLC. He specialises in international arbitration, litigation, and North Korea–related matters. Junu has participated in numerous arbitrations worldwide under ICC, AAA-ICDR, KCAB, SIAC, JCAA, and ICSID rules, handling shareholder and M&A disputes, licensing, sales contracts, and investor-state cases. His expertise includes advising on pre-arbitration strategies and post-award enforcement. He earned his LLM at the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School, trained at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer in Paris, and worked at Anderson Mori & Tomotsune in Tokyo, leveraging his Japanese fluency. He co-authored Arbitration Law of Korea (2011, Juris) and its Korean edition (2012, Pakyongsa).
