About Taeuk Kang

Taeuk Kang was a judge from 2002 to 2007, when he joined Bae, Kim, and Lee LLC. At BKL, Mr Kang mainly focuses his practice on legal advice and litigation in relation to (i) the legal affairs of IT companies, including e-commerce and online gaming industry; (ii) data privacy; and (iii) intellectual property rights. Mr Kang currently serves as a member of various expert committees in the areas of intellectual property, data protection, e-commerce, gaming, etc, in his capacity as an arbitrator on the Korean Commercial Arbitration Board, a member of the eSports Fairness Committee, and an advisor to the Personal Information Protection Commission.
