About Ugu Choi

Ugu Choi is a partner at Bae, Kim & Lee LLC, focusing on financial regulation, regulatory inspections and sanctions, capital market investigations and financial institution M&A. Since joining the firm in 2015, he has advised financial institutions and investment funds on supervisory investigations, regulatory compliance and cross-border transactions. He also has extensive experience in corporate restructuring, insolvency proceedings involving regulated entities, and complex financial litigation. Mr Choi earned his JD from Korea University School of Law and his LLM from New York University School of Law; he is admitted to the Korean and New York Bars.
