has a strong background in patent litigation, particularly in pharmaceuticals and co-ordinating pan-European patent matters, and has been involved in many key cases in the Patents Court, the Intellectual Property Enterprise Court, the Court of Appeal, the Supreme Court and the European Patent Office. He has considerable experience of acting for originator pharmaceutical companies and generic manufacturers on multi-jurisdictional patent actions. Over the last few years, many of his cases have involved biologics, both in the brand-on-brand setting and biosimilars. Christopher also has experience of litigating patent licence agreements, advising licensees seeking to reduce royalty obligations. He is a member of the International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property UK.
