Robert Vidal leads Pinsent Masons’ competition practice for the life sciences sector and brings a rare depth of experience and competition law capability in life sciences. Robert has more than 20 years’ experience advising on all aspects of competition law and the interplay with IP, with extensive expertise in relation to the pharmaceuticals sector, in particular. This includes EU/UK investigations and contentious competition law – both claimant and defence – before the Competition Appeal Tribunal and the High Court. He also has an exemplary track record of clearing mergers before the Competition and Markets Authority and the EC.
