About Joon Won Lee

Joon Won Lee specialises in international arbitration and has extensive experience across multiple sectors, including construction, infrastructure, energy, private capital, defence, pharmaceuticals and foreign direct investment. His practice encompasses representing sovereign and private clients in international arbitration proceedings, obtaining arbitration-related injunctive relief, and handling recognition and enforcement of arbitral awards as well as set-aside proceedings. Prior to joining Lee & Ko, Mr Lee served as a public service advocate in the International Legal Affairs Division at the Korean Ministry of Justice. He has also been appointed as a Young ICSID Regional Delegate for South Asia, East Asia and the Pacific.
