About Jeonghoon Hong

Jeonghoon Hong is a partner in the healthcare and life sciences practice group at Lee & Ko. He holds Master’s degrees in Biostatistics from Seoul National University and Applied Mathematics from Harvard University. He specialises in statistical methods to address challenges in biomedical research, clinical trials, epidemiology, public health and genetics. His expertise includes designing studies to evaluate new drug efficacy and safety, analysing clinical trial data to assess treatment effects and adverse reactions, and conducting population-based studies on disease patterns and risk factors. He also develops statistical models to predict health outcomes and evaluate intervention impacts and provides insights into regulatory compliance, market access and policy decisions.
