About Seonghwan Ju

Seonghwan Ju is a key partner in Lee & Ko’s Digital Finance team and serves as Secretary of the Digital Asset Centre. He is recognised as a leading practitioner in financial regulation and digital finance. Drawing on his regulatory experience at the Financial Supervisory Service and his background in financial engineering, he advises on innovative digital financial business models. His practice focuses on regulatory matters arising from financial sector digitalisation, including financial regulation, electronic financial services, virtual asset service provision and AML compliance. He advised the Ministry of Economy and Finance on policies relating to stablecoins, virtual assets and foreign exchange regulation, receiving a Commendation from the Minister and Deputy Prime Minister.
