About Steve M Kim

Steve M Kim is a partner at Lee & Ko, mainly serving foreign-invested companies in South Korea. Throughout his entire career, Steve has dealt with a broad spectrum of engagements across a variety of industries in both inbound and outbound projects such as direct and indirect tax-driven restructuring, tax due diligence, transfer pricing planning and policy establishment, permanent establishment risk assessment, withholding tax issues involving income characterisation and BO issues, tax audit and ensuing dispute support (ie, administrative appeal, litigation, and MAP). As a qualified US attorney (Washington, DC) and certified public accountant, he regularly contributes to tax and legal publications on numerous international tax matters. He currently serves as co-chair of the Taxation Committee of AmCham Korea. Steve is also a frequent speaker on international tax and transfer pricing topics at International Fiscal Association-hosted events and others.
