About Sung Min Kim

Sung Min Kim is a partner in Lee & Ko’s corporate and M&A practice group focusing on M&A, corporate governance, joint ventures (JVs), cross-border investment and general corporate counselling. Since joining the firm in 2010, he has handled transactional matters including mergers, spin-offs, stock and asset acquisitions, and JVs. He has extensive experience in M&A for financial institutions and start-up companies, advising on landmark deals including SK Innovation’s sale of SK Lubricants, Hahn & Co’s acquisition of Korean Air’s in-flight catering and duty-free business, and an electric vehicle parts production joint venture between LG Electronics Inc and Magna Metalforming GmbH.
