Irene Y. Kim is a US-qualified attorney with multifaceted, cross-border tax experience from both the USA and Korea. Before entering private practice, Irene served as a General Attorney at the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), Office of Chief Counsel, Large Business & International, where she represented the agency in high-profile investigations and trials surrounding multinational companies and financial institutions in connection with their global restructuring and investments. Prior to joining Yoon & Yang as a partner in 2023, Irene was a principal legal counsel at Samsung Electronics, where she advised the chipmaker on its high-stakes transactions with global suppliers.
