focuses primarily on aircraft finance and aviation commercial and regulatory law matters. She acts as counsel to the leading lessors and financiers that support the aircraft and airline industry, including in respect of airline workout and loan restructuring and bankruptcy-related matters, as well as foreign ownership. As the co-lead of the Blakes Drones Group, Auriol has considerable experience with regulatory issues relating to remotely piloted aircraft systems (drones) operations and certification. She is also heavily involved in airport regulatory and financing matters. Auriol gained industry experience while working for a Canadian airline in the operations, contracts, marketing and maintenance departments. Auriol is also a licensed commercial pilot.
