Don MacLeod
focuses on environmental and Indigenous law in his practice, including corporate compliance, negotiation and regulatory matters. He has experience with provincial, territorial and federal environmental and regulatory regimes, permitting, environmental assessments, and administrative penalties and appeals. Before joining Blakes, Don worked for the Department of Industry, Tourism and Investment in the Northwest Territories. He has also worked in Ottawa for a federal cabinet minister and in the Canadian energy sector.
