About Roy Zhu

Roy Zhu is a partner at Global Law Office in Shanghai and concentrates on cross-border M&A, joint ventures and other complex corporate/commercial transactions for multinational corporations, private equity funds and Chinese enterprises. He also focuses on global corporate reorganisations and has led transactions in a wide range of sectors, including automotive, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, food and beverage, telecommunications, consumer products, hotel and hospitality, and real estate. He also counsels foreign clients in complex shareholder disputes, contractual disputes and lease disputes in China. In 2018, Roy was designated by Shanghai Bureau of Justice as an expert on cross-border legal practice. He is admitted to practice in the People’s Republic of China and the State of New York.
