About Kai Li

Kai Li is a partner at Fangda. He is renowned for his liquidation, insolvency and restructuring practice, as well as for commercial litigation and arbitration. He has a reputation for being detailed and considerate, especially in his cases representing investors, creditors and creditors’ committees. Equipped with insight into China’s legal, economic and political frameworks, he has also successfully handled a number of restructuring proceedings on behalf of the Chinese government. In addition to being admitted to practice in China, he is a registered member of the Chinese Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He serves in several social roles, including as vice director of the Liquidation and Bankruptcy Committee of the Shanghai Bar Association and as secretary of the M&A and Restructuring Club of the Global Finance Leaders' Forum.
