Anupama T. S. is a chartered accountant experienced in advising large multinational and domestic clients on direct tax matters for M&A transactions, internal restructuring and cross-border issues. She has undertaken direct tax advisory projects covering business re-organisations (including mergers, demergers, slump sales and asset sales), cross-border structuring, withholding tax issues, treaty interpretation, tax due diligence and domestic corporate tax compliance. She has assisted clients in assessment and appellate proceedings around issues pertaining to cross-border taxation. Prior to joining JSA, she was associated with Price Waterhouse & Co LLP, where she advised clients across sectors on direct tax matters.
