is a partner in the finance practice at JSA and heads the practice in the north of India. He advises Indian and multinational banks, non-banking finance companies, financial institutions and Indian borrowers in relation to complex and structured credit facilities for Indian borrowers, including acquisition financing, real estate finance and trade finance; credit facilities for overseas subsidiaries of Indian entities for the purpose of overseas acquisitions and leveraged buy-outs; structuring and implementing structured debt, quasi-debt and equity transactions; and restructuring, enforcement and insolvency-related matters. He has also advised arrangers, investors and issuers on various bond issuances offered domestically as well as in offshore jurisdictions. He has been actively involved in various debt restructuring and security enforcement assignments, and in the insolvency resolution process under the new Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016.
