About Julian Perez-Durias

Julian Perez-Durias is an associate within Penningtons Manches Cooper’s aviation, aerospace and shipping team. He has been heavily involved in the multi-billion-dollar aviation insurance claims arising from Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, working on all aspects of the litigation. He has also acted for a leading commercial aviation systems supplier on a successful breach-of-exclusivity claim in the High Court. Julian has worked on a series of complex satellite disputes, advising re-insurers on coverage and technical aspects of the claim. He also contributes across a broad range of shipping matters, including charter disputes, admiralty claims, collisions, fires and groundings.
