João Lamy da Fontoura
is an associate who has worked on public law for the past 16 years, advising and acting on behalf of public authorities and clients within the private sector on a broad range of matters, including construction, concessions, infrastructure, transport, water supply, waste and wastewater management, energy, life sciences and service agreements. He has a deep understanding of market and government practice that stems from his experience of working on private sector deals, administrative proceedings, public procurement, the legislative procedure, parliamentary inquiries and dispute resolution. João, who has also taken part in international arbitration proceedings, is a member of the Portuguese Arbitration Association and of the panel of arbitrators at the Centre for Administrative Arbitration since 2015.
