About David Yates

David Yates rejoined Al Tamimi in August 2022 as regional head of the Digital & Data practice, having originally established the team during his previous tenure from 2009 to 2013. Previously, he was a partner at two top-tier Australian firms advising across technology, media, telecommunications and data. David is a results-oriented lawyer with broad experience in transactional, advisory and dispute matters. He has deep knowledge of the evolving legal and regulatory landscape across the MENA region. David leads a regional team supporting clients on digital transformation, data strategy, and compliance across the Middle East and North Africa.
