Shiraz Khan is a UK-qualified lawyer with over 22 years of international tax experience. Prior to joining Al Tamimi & Company, he served as global head of tax at a multinational organisation, overseeing tax affairs across more than 100 countries. He has also worked with a leading international law firm in the UK and Big Four firms in the UK and Middle East. He specialises in international tax structuring, focusing on the tax aspects of cross-border financing and debt transactions, including acquisition finance, structured lending, Islamic finance and real estate financing for multinational corporates and financial institutions in the region.
