About Cecilia Díaz de Rivera

Cecilia Díaz de Rivera joined Galicia as an intern in 2007 and later became an associate in the banking and finance and M&A practices. She subsequently moved to the wealth management area, where she now focuses exclusively, and was appointed counsel in 2025. Her practice centres on corporate and civil wealth matters, with particular emphasis on the corporate and family dimensions of control structures, estates, successions and family businesses. Cecilia works closely with individuals, families, family offices and fiduciaries to design, implement and manage governance, estate and succession structures, helping clients achieve smooth and peaceful transitions of family and wealth across generations.
