About Alejandro Madero

Alejandro Madero is a senior associate in the tax litigation practice at Galicia Abogados. He has more than 15 years of experience and specialises in providing strategic advice on tax audits and procedures before the tax authorities, as well as in alternative dispute resolution procedures in tax matters before Mexico’s Tax Ombudsman Agency (Prodecon). He has been a key player in obtaining favourable rulings concerning federal and local taxes. He has been a part-time professor at the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education’s bachelor programme. He is co-author of the 2024, second edition of the book El juicio de amparo en materia fiscal.
