About Alejandro Madero

Alejandro Madero joined Galicia in 2021 as a senior tax associate based in Monterrey, Mexico. With more than 15 years' experience, he specialises in strategic advisory on tax audits and procedures before the tax authorities, alternative dispute resolution procedures on tax matters before Mexico’s Tax Ombudsman Agency, and tax controversy procedures regarding federal and local taxes. He also has experience in international taxation issues and has obtained favourable rulings concerning the refund of local taxes representing a considerable amount, in several states.
