About Francisco Fernández Cueto

Francisco Fernández Cueto co-leads Galicia’s energy and infrastructure groups, with a focus on project finance. Based in the Mexico City office, his practice focuses on energy matters with an emphasis on renewable electricity, conventional electricity and natural gas. He advises clients in development, construction, financing, sector M&A transactions, joint ventures, energy regulation and litigation, and the operation and maintenance of small, medium and large-scale energy projects. Francisco is particularly known for his participation in sophisticated transactions and experience in financial agreements and project contract negotiations, including power purchase and hedge agreements, natural gas transportation agreements, engineering, procurement and construction contracts, and operation and maintenance arrangements.
