holds an LLM degree from Yale Law School and an LLB from Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City, as well as specialised studies in international law from the Hague Academy of International Law. He is an associate of the arbitration and commercial litigation practice, where he has had experience in international arbitrations between state-owned companies and transnational companies, as well as interim measures in aid of arbitrations. Prior to joining Galicia Abogados, he worked as a law clerk in the Mexican Supreme Court of Justice. Santiago is an associate professor of international adjudication at Universidad Iberoamericana and is a member of the Mexican Council on Foreign Relations.
