About Isabel Ortiz Monasterio

Isabel Ortiz Monasterio joined Ritch Mueller in 2011. Her practice focuses on derivatives, repo and securities lending transactions and financial regulation. She advises domestic and international financial institutions on the structuring, negotiation and documentation of these transactions, including ISDA documentation, local master agreements, regulatory authorisations, and Mexican law netting and collateral enforceability opinions. Isabel regularly advises ISDA, the Mexican Banking Association (ABM) and the Mexican Association of Brokerage Firms (AMIB), contributing to the drafting of Mexican industry standard master agreements and participating in Banco de México consultations on derivatives and securities' financing regulation.
