María de Lourdes Marengo is a senior partner at Patton, Moreno and Asvat and leads the firm’s corporate and finance department where she provides expert legal advice to a diverse range of clients, including major airlines and financial institutions in the aviation sector. With over 30 years’ experience, she has earned recognition from international specialised guides as a leading legal advisor in Panama. Marengo is the author of Panama chapters in multiple international publications as well as dedicated legal guides on aviation. She is a member of the L2B Aviation Group and the International Association of Women in Aviation, and she sits on the Board of Directors of the Banking Superintendency of the Republic of Panama.
