María de Lourdes Marengo is a senior partner at Patton, Moreno & Asvat and leads the firm’s corporate and finance department, providing expert legal advice to a diverse range of clients, including major airlines and financial institutions. With over 30 years’ experience, she is recognised by international specialised guides as a leading legal adviser in Panama. Marengo is the author of Panama chapters in multiple international publications as well as legal guides on aviation. She is a member of the L2B Aviation Group and the International Association of Women in Aviation, and she sits on the Board of Directors of the Banking Superintendency of the Republic of Panama and the Association of Panama International Lawyers.
