With a strong background in regulation, Michael provides general regulatory advice to ISOLAS’ financial services and banking clients on various aspects of regulatory compliance, focusing on AML/CFT, data protection and e-privacy. He recently edited the anti-money laundering guidance notes for Gibraltar’s legal profession, and assisted the government of Gibraltar on the implementation of the 5th Money Laundering Directive. Michael advises public authorities and law enforcement bodies on privacy compliance, conducting GDPR/LED-compliance audits, DSAR-handling, DPIAs and policy-drafting.
