About Michael Adamberry

Michael Adamberry is a senior associate and a former regulator at the Gibraltar Financial Services Commission, prior to joining ISOLAS in 2016. With a strong background in regulation, Michael provides general regulatory advice to ISOLAS’ financial services and banking clients on various aspects of regulatory compliance, focusing on AML/CFT, data protection and e-privacy. He recently assisted the government of Gibraltar on implementation of the Fifth Money Laundering Directive, and legislative drafting amendments required to implement MONEYVAL recommendations (including the travel rule). As a dual-qualified solicitor and barrister, Michael advises public authorities and law enforcement bodies on privacy compliance, conducting GDPR/LED compliance audits, DSAR handling, DPIAs and policy drafting.
